Fate

Often have I pondered the concept of fate. As any intangible object it is difficult to define. However, I have suffered many internal conflicts with the idea. Is life truly set on a predetermined path. Is it possible that there is no control over what we do, that we are strings and are worked like puppets. This is certainly not the fate that I believe in. I believe that while there is a set course we are able to define our own lives. We are able to manipulate the strings and create our own path. Every action in the Universe has a reaction, thus ever decision we make in life creates a small ripple in the universe. Albeit difficult for some to see this logically, view it this way. Each individual’s life has a beginning point and an end point. It is the decisions in between that comprise what we are at the finish line. Thus, the story has been told differently with each life. Therefore the decisions that we take now certainly do affect the entire universe.
