Sky of Tomorrow

An endless ocean of air stretching beyond the exorbitant limitations of the eye. A blue blanket that encompasses all of our planet. Ancient philosophers, poets, and scientists gazed in wonder at the sky, a single question permeating through their mind. Perhaps one day the sky will be utilized similarly to the noble mountains, rolling hills, and terrain of the Earth has been. Perhaps one day we will gaze upon the once glorious sky and see dark clouds of smoke emitted from the exhaust of air taxis. Perhaps one day we will glance up and see giant skyscrapers stretching out towards the heavens. The residents of Earth coughing upon the repugnant fumes polluting the landscape from above.
